IC Controls remains open to support its customers
and help us all recover from the COVID-19 crisis
IC Controls manufactures and distributes products that monitor the quality of water for residential, commercial and industrial use. We serve end-use markets such as municipal water/ wastewater, power generation, pulp & paper, chemical, petrochemical, food & beverage production, and metallurgical refining.   The majority of our products are mission critical in the ongoing operation of these plants.
Furthermore, during the COVID-19 crisis, major companies that are deemed essential businesses have identified us as being an essential part of their supply chains.  These companies are in a wide variety of industries and include:
  • a leader in Life Sciences playing a critical role in the global response to fight the outbreak.   
  • an oil producer in Alberta contributing to ongoing supply of energy 
  • a Power Generation plant in Ontario responsible for supplying electricity to residences, businesses and emergency services during the crisis
  • an AgriScience company in Saskatchewan recognized as a vital supplier and thereby important role in helping maintain the global food supply

Accordingly, we have been urged to continue our support by supplying materials and services during this time.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, IC Controls is following the recommendations of the World Health Organization,  our local and national governments, as well as the direction of our our public health officials. This includes having only essential production teams working in the plant and all other staff working remotely.
    • Our personnel are aware of the symptoms and preventative actions they need to take
    • There are no non-essential employees or visitors in our facility
    • Disinfecting wipes and cleaners are in our entrance ways, office, production/assembly areas and communal areas
    • Common areas and individual work spaces are sanitized twice daily.
    • The majority of our raw materials have multiple sources of supply
    • Our personnel have been trained in multiple roles for redundancy
    • Our management team continually reviews and updates our Business Continuity Plan
