Total Organic Carbon (TOC)

//Total Organic Carbon (TOC)

Total Organic Carbon or TOC is the measurement of the amount of carbon in a sample that is from organic sources. These sources include natural compounds such as bacteria and sugars as well as synthetic ones such as detergents and pesticides. Detection of these chemicals is important in assessing the pollution in drinking water and wastewater applications. It is also critical in assessing contamination in Ultra Pure Water (UPW) applications like Pharmaceutical production and Power Generation
